The concept of missionaries being supported was established at the time of Christ when He sent His disciples out to minister to the towns and villages around. He told them not to take with them the things needed to live, and He said that “the labourer is worthy of his hire.” Luke 10:7.
It’s easy to be a missionary if one is “hired” for the job. What, then, if one doesn’t wait around for someone else to create the job description, but decides to go out and do the work and trust God will take care of the details? Well, God does, when the work is part of His leading! And one never knows in what way He will provide.
I’ve done this work for several years, and I’ve never been hired to do it, and I never had regular support (though a couple people have donated money or items on occasion). I’ve never gone without any needed thing, such as food or housing. I never got rich, either! God has always been faithful to provide our needs.
This ministry is now expanding from one missionary doing personal outreach to seminar presentations at churches and other venues. The expenses have changed and increased. You have an opportunity to support this work if you so choose. Please take a moment to pray about it. If you feel God is leading you to donate, please feel free to do so. If you don’t, please don’t feel obligated in any way by me or anyone else to do so! Our finances are in God’s hands, not our own, and it’s His business where the support comes from.
You can donate in two ways. One, you can go to the Contact Us link at the top of the page and mail your check or money order to our address as listed.
